ProLase - Laser Pipe Profiling and Measurement Tools

ProLase machine vision software was designed to make accurate pre-adoption measurements of pipe profiles and defects in water and sewer systems. Measurements can be made manually or automatically by selecting a measurement algorithm together with measurement parameters, in the form of size limits. Over stepping these limits constitutes an undesirable or desirable feature and is identified on screen as an event or log entry. A printed report of the survey is also possible.

ProLase can operate as a field service tool with live CCTV capture of a laser profile or for recording a laser profile, to be worked on back at the office. Live, recorded and still images are all time/date/meter stamped at the time of survey. Recordings of both live and recorded surveys can be further enhanced with a screen writer, enabling text in a customisable format, to be written directly over the image.
Prolase is capable of operating with any CCTV inspection camera system. The ability to record and reload specific camera profiles enables ProLase to be used in a multi camera environment, avoiding time consuming calibration and setup. Each profile contains information on camera specific data and image filtering as well as current ProLase setup. Each change is recorded and reloaded the next time ProLase is used.
